Fraud victims allegedly attempt mass suicide on Beijing subway by drinking toxic liquid

A disturbing video began circulating on WeChat last week appearing to show a group of people attempting to kill themselves on the Beijing Metro by drinking some milky white toxic liquid.

The video shows the men and women sipping on the noxious substance and then collapsing to the carriage floor as fellow commuters back away in fright.

Details about the incident are scarce. An Epoch Times report claims that it occurred on December 26th. Police soon boarded the train and dragged the unconscious people out onto the station platform before rushing them to the hospital. Reportedly, none of the eight people were killed by drinking the poison.

Furthermore, the Epoch Times alleges that the people involved were all stock traders who had fallen victim to financial fraud that had left them in debt and desperate.

However, mainland Chinese media have not reported on the incident and the video and pictures have been expunged from Chinese social media, so it is difficult to know for sure who these people are and what they were hoping to accomplish.

Video tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pria dan wanita menghirup zat beracun tersebut dan kemudian terjatuh ke lantai kereta saat rekan-rekannya kembali ketakutan.

Rincian tentang kejadian itu jarang terjadi. Sebuah laporan Epoch Times mengklaim bahwa hal itu terjadi pada tanggal 26 Desember. Polisi segera naik kereta dan menyeret orang-orang yang tidak sadarkan diri ke stasiun sebelum membawa mereka ke rumah sakit. Kabarnya, tak satu pun dari delapan orang tersebut terbunuh dengan meminum racun tersebut.

Selanjutnya, Epoch Times menuduh bahwa orang-orang yang terlibat adalah semua pedagang saham yang telah menjadi korban penipuan finansial yang telah membuat mereka berhutang dan putus asa.

【大紀元2016年12月26日訊】（大紀元記者顧曉華採訪報導）12月26日，北京地鐵上再次發生集體喝農藥自殺事件，有5女3男分兩批在北京天安門西站的電車上喝下農藥，目前4人經搶救甦醒，其他4人中毒嚴重，仍在搶救之中。據悉，自殺者為天津現貨交易所金融詐騙受害者，他們因投訴無門、欠下巨額外債而走投無路。

12月26日早上9時許，第一批有4人先行登上電車，在天安門西站服毒自殺，十餘分鐘後，另外4人在另一輛電車上喝下農藥。一位現場知情人士對大紀元記者表示，當時他們同時喝下農藥，現場都是一股刺鼻的農藥味，旁邊的乘客慌忙躲閃，車靠站後，幾名工作人員以及駐地鐵的兩名警察在現場清場。

知情人士說：「現場警察和工作人員根本沒有首先叫急救中心人員，而是硬生生地把人拖拽到站台上，往出攆乘客，十多分鐘後地鐵恢復正常通行。」

他還透露，警察與工作人員在現場驅趕圍觀者，禁止錄像與拍照，之後救護車趕至現場將自殺者送至四所醫院（協和醫院、北京醫院、同仁醫院、復興門醫院）。到目前，有4人被搶救過來，另外3人中毒較重，最嚴重者有1人，具體情況不詳。

據悉，自殺者為5女3男，年齡從30歲至60歲不等，分別來自吉林、山東、甘肅、河南、河北、安徽等地。他們已在北京維權數月，最後投訴無門被逼走上絕路。

今年8月25日在北京地鐵上已發生過一起喝農藥自殺事件，他們分別是天津四大現貨交易所（天津市礦產資源交易所、天津渤海商品交易所、天津貴金屬交易所、天津電子材料與產品交易所）的金融詐騙受害者。

知情人士表示，這些受害者到當地與天津政府報案，但警方不予立案，他們被迫進京上訪，結果信訪局、金融局各個部門全部都是搪塞、推諉，他們因債台高築、妻離子散、家破人亡，走投無路，最後選擇自殺的方式進行維權。

甘肅蘭州的受害者高先生在接受記者採訪時表示，他今年7月份開始進行維權，投入金額達100餘萬元，此筆錢有自己省吃儉用積攢的積蓄，有向親朋好友的借款，也有信用卡透支款，還有高利貸，最後他為了還債拆西牆補東牆。由於高利貸追債，有家不能回，他的妻子與其離婚，家中還有4歲的兒子，他到各部門上訪，遭遇的卻是被毆打等。

天津受害者鞠女士前後有70餘萬元全部損失殆盡，這些錢是她買房結婚的錢，家裡目前還有1人患病臥床，等著錢進行換賢手術。另一位新疆的受害者彭女士也表示，她投入的180萬元是賣房子以及跟親朋好友借的錢，現在所有人都與她反目成仇，家裡人已跟她斷絕關係。

受害者們說：「所有的路都走完了，該投訴都投訴了，實在沒辦法，我們是生不如死。」

據記者了解，因四家交易所都是天津政府與當局支持的項目，資金有第三方銀行監管，同時與國際金融大師合作，因此獲得投資者的信任。高先生與山東的受害者朱女士都是被交易所代理人員進行了長達數月至半年的遊說與誘惑才開始投入此項目，虧損則是瞬間之事，此時代理人又會以不同的理由或者變換不同的項目進行詐騙，讓他們多投入多收益。朱女士表示，這是一種政府詐騙行為。

有統計顯示，涉及天津市四家交易所在內的投資者總人數達230餘人，總金額7000餘萬元。真實的數據至今無法詳細統計。

據悉，交易所對外宣傳為國內唯一採用礦產資源產品現貨協議轉讓制度的現貨電子交易，號稱門檻低、交易自由、保值避險、以小博大、資金回籠快、漲跌易判斷等，但實際上是 「買空賣空」的虛擬對賭式交易模式。

受害者們表示，如果當局對此事不聞不問，自殺的悲劇將會持續。
